Creative Report: Contacting People - Teachers

Sonia Crewe and Katie Akers

Both of these teachers were quite easy to contact, as I have volunteered at their school for a while, therefore I know the and they know me quite well, therefore they were more than happy to help me out with my project and fill in the questions.

Again a face to face interview would have been nice, however they are very busy and stressed with their jobs, therefore they both said an email interview would be a lot easier. I still received the answers in plenty of time.

I contacted teachers who had studied creative subjects at University which then gave me an insight into how they use this within their work and also an insight into the education system, both the good and the bad things, which was a lot more rewarding for me than just emailing designers or illustrators.

Dan Haycocks

Dan was my Graphics teacher throughout school and college, therefore we have a good relationship. I knew his answers would be interesting and insightful, and that is journey to where he is now was different to many others.

I contacted him with the questions and he answered in the form of a voice recording, which was different to how everyone else responded, but it made it more interesting to listen to.
