The stickers were printed and produced using a vinyl cutter, the stock which was selected was the Mate sticker paper to make sure the colours were as vibrant as possible.

Below shows the initial stages of the blog which I have designed in the same way applying my personal branding across it. The blog is in it's iniital stages as it's something I wish to begin when  I start my PGCE, I can blog about advice, my experience and also inspiration and ideas for other teachers, which I can continue further into my teaching career.

Below shows my personal branding applied to my twitter account. twitter is an appropriate method of communication as a lot of other teachers, educational companies and teaching communities as a whole are on it. Following news in the form of education, changes in curriculums, discussion boards and threads. As well as posting my own content around creative approaches to teaching, my teaching methods which I will develop, classroom displays as well as a platform to speak to and communicate with other teachers and like minded people.

Below shows my personal branding applied to my instagram account, using the same colours and typeface throughout. Instagram is an appropriate method of communication as a lot of other teachers, educational companies and teaching communities as a whole are on it. it's important for creatives such as myself, to post visual outcomes and images, as well as looking at others for inspiration and ideas. It also gives me a platform to showcase some o my design work showing both parts to me. As well as posting my own content around creative approaches to teaching, my teaching methods which I will develop, classroom displays as well as a platform to speak to and communicate with other teachers and like minded people. I have also prepared story highlights, which will be used to post the most popular information, looking at creative ways of teaching through games, displays, crafts and art and design. Again, instagram is a great platform for starting conversations, creative inspiration and communicating.

The final designs and personal promotional strategy all revolve around my ambitions of going into teaching and being able to introduce creativity into all aspects of my teaching style and throughout the curriculum and classroom.

The branding mainly has a focus on social media and digital designs, as this is the most important aspect to have. It's important t have a professional online presence for employers, parents and even possible children to see, as well as having a professional profile and identity  to share inspiration, ideas as well as communicating with other teachers and educational establishments and keeping up with the latest educational news and changes.

Colours

Developments with colours show experiments with various colour pairings and combinations, seeing which worked most successfully together and both enhancing the design whilst also helping to communicate the concept and personality. Orange and purple worked well together, as orange represents creativity and expression, whereas purple is more representative of myself, however it seemed too contrast too much against each other. the same applied to the other experiments, using two colours took away from the design. Therefore it was decided to just use purple  for the main logos and brand across the platforms the identity was applied to, with an idea to use the other successful colours in other areas of the branding, the colours together work well as a cohesive colour scheme.

Idea


Below explores the initial beginnings of the final outcome, looking at the use of my own hands to create interesting imagery, with a focus on how hands are extremely important within the creative process, whilst also keeping that childish, playful approach. Feedback suggested that the imagery definitely communicates the concept well and is personal, yet relatable. 







Typefaces

Below and above show developments with different typefaces, the design definitely needed a more geometric typeface to fit in with the concept, research and previous initial ideas with a focus on creativity in the terms of shapes, also to contrast agains the hand drawn imagery. Therefore various versions of Futura were experimented with, as well as Circular Std Bold. Some of the Futura typefaces seemed to harsh edged and din’t fit in with the imagery. However Circular Std Bold is a slightly more rounded typeface which worked perfectly with the artwork and also in communicating the concept and to the targeted audience in general.

Below explores the idea of creating a versatile, tactile design for the logo, which uses different textures and materials to represent creativity. Using paints, crayons to create negative space in which the type would be formed. However again across the most appropriate platforms, the different textures wouldn’t come across. 


Another idea focusing on using type looking at using Futura and also using purely the three primary colours as these are generally associated with learning and younger school years. Creating an almost three dimensional effect, bringing the design to life, however overall the design again similar to previous design didn’t explicitly represent or use creativity.
