Personal Branding - Target Audience

6C2 6D2 - A focus on the audience for promotional branding and strategy and defining appropriate communication methods. 

The audience for my branding is a range of people, teachers, employers, schools and professionals.

One of the most important aspects to consider when going into the teaching professions, especially working with children and young children is to have appropriate social media and online presence. Personal accounts should be on the highest privacy and in some cases names changed, therefore parents and pupils cannot look you up. As well as this, it's important to keep all social media accounts professional and have nothing in appropriate or anything that could let people view you in a negative way. 

Due to the nature of today's society, I think social media and word of mouth is enough to get branding and yourself known. Therefore I don't believe that printed or physical material is necessary and as stated before having safe and professional online presence is one of the more important aspects when going into teaching.

As I'm not going into the design profession, I also don't feel a website or portfolio is necessary as I want interviews and jobs to be focused on teaching and the children and if asked or if necessary I will be able to show some of my work physically or talk about it when appropriate.
