Collaboration with Creative Advertising students, helping them with the crafting of their adverts and designs. The company Bulls Eye had very strict brand guidelines, specific colours, do's and don'ts s well as typefaces, therefore the designs were very limited and it was less about being creative but more about the skills that I could bring across the Adobe software and type choices and layout.
Their campaign for Bulls Eye was based around their big idea of 'We don't do subtle' and the fact that 'Bulls Eye is bold, confident and full of taste. It's the star of the rodeo'.
The final outcome which I helped to design were beer mats, an Ad shel campaign, a London Underground billboard advert and a story board for a tv advert.
From this collaboration, it was gathered that I prefer to be a part of the design and idea process from the beginning, it's quite boring and not very creative when you as a designer are given very specific instructions which not much room for experimentation. However on the other hand, it makes you realise the skills you do have that you can bring that not everyone else can do.
